New Generation Ski School Referral Program Terms and Conditions
Eligibility
This refer-a-friend program (“Referral Program”) is open to existing and past customers of New Generation Ski & Snowboard School (“New Generation”) who act as referrers (“Referring Guests”). To be eligible to refer, you must have previously booked with New Generation. The friends or family you refer (“Referred Guests”) must be new customers who have never booked with New Generation before. Existing or returning customers cannot be referred as new guests under this program. Each Referring Guest may only invite people they personally know (such as friends, family, colleagues); you must not send referrals to strangers or anyone with whom you have no personal connection.
Referral Rewards and Discounts
For the Referred Guest: A Referred Guest who uses a valid referral code or link on their first booking will receive a 5% discount on that first booking as a welcome reward. The referral discount can only be used once per new customer (i.e. only on their first booking) and cannot be applied to any subsequent bookings. This 5% discount is applied at the time of booking and cannot be redeemed for cash or combined with other offers.
For the Referring Guest: For each successful referral, the Referring Guest will receive an Ellis Brigham gift card voucher as a thank-you. A referral is considered successful (a “Completed Referral”) when the Referred Guest uses the referrer’s code to make an eligible booking and completes the lesson(s) without cancellation or refund. The gift card reward will be issued only after the Referred Guest’s lessons have been delivered and confirmed. The value of the gift card is based on the Referred Guest’s total booking amount, as follows:
Booking spend under €500: £20 Ellis Brigham gift card
Booking spend €501–€1000: £50 Ellis Brigham gift card
Booking spend over €1001: £100 Ellis Brigham gift card
Gift Card Details: The Ellis Brigham gift cards are issued by New Generation (not by Ellis Brigham directly) and are subject to the standard terms of use of Ellis Brigham gift cards (e.g. they can be redeemed at Ellis Brigham stores or online, and have no cash value). The gift card reward is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other services. New Generation will typically deliver the gift card (or e-voucher code) to the Referring Guest via email once the Referred Guest’s booking is completed and confirmed. If the Referred Guest’s booking is cancelled, not attended, or refunded, the Referring Guest will not be entitled to the gift card for that referral. There is no cap on the number of friends you can refer or the number of gift cards you can earn through this program (unless we later specify a limit). However, each Referred Guest must be a genuinely new customer, and duplicate or self-referrals are not allowed.
Qualifying Bookings
To qualify for this Referral Program, the new guest’s booking must be made directly with New Generation via our official website or booking system. Bookings made through third-party agents, tour operators, or partners do not qualify. All bookings (including those made with a referral discount) are subject to availability and must comply with our standard booking terms and conditions (e.g. regarding payment, cancellation, etc.). The referral discount code must be applied at the time of booking – it cannot be applied retroactively to an existing booking. The referral discount cannot be combined with any other promo code, voucher, credit, or discount offer in the same booking. This Referral Program applies to all lesson types (both adult and children’s ski/snowboard lessons) offered by New Generation, so long as the booking meets the criteria above.
Redemption Process
For Referred Guests: The Referred Guest will receive a unique referral code or link from their Referring Friend. To redeem the 5% discount, the Referred Guest should enter the referral code during the online booking checkout (or provide it to our staff when booking via phone, if applicable). The discount will be automatically deducted from the lesson price at checkout once the code is validated. If the code is not used at the time of booking, the discount cannot be applied later, and the referral benefits are forfeited for that booking.
For Referring Guests: New Generation tracks referrals through the unique codes/links. Once your referred friend has completed their lesson booking using your code and that lesson has been delivered, we will process your Ellis Brigham gift card reward. The gift card details will be sent to you by New Generation (for example, via the email address we have on file for you). Please ensure your contact information is up to date in your account. The timing of the reward issuance may vary, but we aim to deliver referral rewards within a reasonable period (e.g. within a few weeks after the referred guest’s lesson is completed). If you believe you earned a reward but have not received it in a timely manner, you may contact us to inquire (however, note the provisions under Decisions and Disputes below regarding final determinations).
General Conditions
By participating in the Referral Program, both Referring and Referred Guests agree to abide by these Referral Terms and Conditions, as well as all other standard terms and conditions of New Generation that apply to our services and bookings. New Generation reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel this Referral Program or any participant’s involvement in it at any time and for any reason, without prior notice. This could include changes to the discount amount, gift card values, or any other program parameters. Any such changes will be effective once posted on our website or communicated to participants. New Generation also reserves the right to interpret and make final decisions on the program rules and on the eligibility for discounts or rewards.
Our standard booking Terms and Conditions (including policies on cancellations, refunds, etc.) remain in effect for all bookings made under this program. Participation in the Referral Program does not alter any of the rights or obligations under those booking terms, except as expressly provided in these Referral Program terms.
Referrer Responsibilities and Restrictions
We value fair play and compliance. If you choose to participate as a Referring Guest, you agree to the following conditions:
Invite People You Know: You may only send referral invitations to personal contacts (friends, family members, colleagues, etc.) who genuinely want to hear about New Generation. You must not publish or share your referral code publicly on websites or platforms that are unrelated to your personal interactions. In particular, you must not post your referral links or codes on sites that contain adult content, violence, alcohol or tobacco promotion, gambling, or any illegal activities. Invitations should be personal and appropriate, rather than spam-like solicitations.
No Spamming or Unsolicited Messages: You must comply with all applicable laws (including anti-spam legislation) when inviting others. Bulk emailing, mass texting, or messaging people you do not know to promote your referral code is strictly prohibited. Your referral messages should be occasional and directed to individuals who are likely to appreciate receiving them. Any referral method that is annoying, misleading, or harassing to recipients is not allowed.
Personal Use Only (Non-Commercial): This Referral Program is intended for individual customers to refer their friends and family. You may not use the program for any commercial purposes or affiliate marketing. For example, businesses or individuals promoting referral codes to the general public via paid advertising or on coupon websites is not permitted. Referrals should be made in good faith to introduce someone to New Generation’s services, not as a means to game the system.
No Misrepresentation: Do not misrepresent your relationship with New Generation when inviting friends. You are not an agent or employee of New Generation, and you should not represent yourself as such. You must not claim to be acting on behalf of New Generation or give any warranties or representations about New Generation’s services beyond what is in our official materials. Also, you may not create any materials using New Generation’s name, logo, or branding (such as flyers, social media pages, or ads) without our written permission. All official marketing materials will be provided by New Generation; you are simply sharing your personal referral link or code.
Accurate Information: You represent and warrant that all information you provide in connection with the Referral Program is true, current, and complete. This includes any personal details (like your contact information) and the details of the friends you refer. You must not use false identities, multiple accounts, or fake email addresses to generate referrals. You should also have the consent of the person you are referring to share their contact details with us (if you are directly providing their information). We may monitor participation and take action if we suspect fraud or abuse. New Generation reserves the right to require proof of your identity or eligibility (for example, requiring you to verify your email or provide an ID) before issuing a referral reward, and to decline to issue rewards or disqualify participants if any misuse is suspected.
No Combination with Other Offers: The referral discount and rewards offered in this program cannot be combined with any other referral program, promotion, discount, or incentive offered by New Generation. If you are participating in this Referral Program, you may be restricted from concurrently participating in any other New Generation promotional programs that involve discounts or rewards. Similarly, a Referred Guest cannot combine the 5% referral discount with any other first-time customer offer or voucher.
Employee and Affiliate Restrictions: Employees, contractors, or official affiliates of New Generation Ski & Snowboard School (as well as their immediate family members or household) may not participate in the Referral Program as referrers or claim referral rewards. If we find that a referral or reward involved a participant who has a current or former employment/affiliate relationship with our company, we reserve the right to disqualify those referrals and void any associated rewards. This program is intended for genuine customers only.
Any failure to comply with the above responsibilities and restrictions may result in disqualification from the program and forfeiture of any referral benefits earned, as detailed below.
Program Duration and Termination
The Referral Program is an ongoing offer that will run until such time as New Generation decides to terminate or pause it. We reserve the right to end the program at any time or to set an end date for the program in the future. If an end date is announced (or if we terminate the program early), we will communicate this on our website or via email to participants.
Effect of Termination: In the event the Referral Program is terminated, any referral bookings made before the termination date will still be honored under these terms, provided the bookings are subsequently completed and not cancelled. In other words, if you referred someone and they booked a lesson before the program ended, you would still receive your gift card reward as long as they actually take the lesson (even if the lesson occurs after the program has ended). However, no new referrals (bookings using referral codes) will be accepted after the program’s termination date, and any referral codes will cease to function for discounts once the program is ended. We may also, at our discretion, exclude or not honor referrals that are completed after the program’s end if we believe they were booked in bad faith or in violation of these terms during a notice period.
Termination of Individual Participation: New Generation also reserves the right to terminate your participation in the Referral Program (or the program in its entirety) if you violate any of these terms or if we suspect fraud, abuse, or any conduct that we deem to be contrary to the spirit of the program. Such termination may be immediate and without prior notice. If your participation is terminated due to violation of terms or misconduct, you will forfeit any pending referral discounts or rewards, and any referral codes you have may be deactivated.
Fraud, Violations, and Abuse
We are committed to running a fair Referral Program. Any abuse of this program is strictly prohibited. If New Generation suspects that a participant (either a referrer or a referred customer) has engaged in or attempted any fraudulent or unethical activities – such as creating fake accounts, making fictitious bookings, misrepresenting facts, exploiting technical loopholes, or violating the letter or spirit of these terms – we reserve the right to take appropriate action. Such action may include disqualifying you from the program, withholding or cancelling referral rewards, terminating your user account, and, if necessary, pursuing legal remedies.
Examples of violations or abuse include, but are not limited to: using bots or automated scripts to send referral invitations; impersonating someone else; referring yourself under another email or identity; harassing people with referral messages; or any attempt to deceive New Generation or circumvent the rules outlined here. We also require that you respect the rights of others – you must not violate any third party’s rights (such as intellectual property rights or privacy rights) when promoting your referral code.
If you become aware of any fraudulent activity or misuse of the Referral Program, please report it to us. We will investigate all allegations of fraud and take action as deemed appropriate. New Generation’s determination of whether a particular action constitutes fraud or violation of these terms is final.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, New Generation provides this Referral Program and any related rewards “as is” and “as available,” without any warranty or guarantee. While we strive to operate the program fairly and smoothly, we do not guarantee that the Referral Program will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, or that every referral will successfully track or result in a reward.
New Generation makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the Referral Program, including but not limited to any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Participating in the program is at your own risk. For example, we do not promise that your friends will definitely book or that you will earn any specific amount of rewards. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the program (in whole or in part) at any time, and we will not be liable to you for any potential rewards not earned because of changes or termination, as long as such changes are in line with these terms.
Nothing in these terms shall limit or exclude any warranty, guarantee, or condition that cannot be excluded by law. In particular, this disclaimer does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
Limitation of Liability
New Generation (including our directors, officers, employees, and agents) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your participation in the Referral Program or the inability to participate, to the maximum extent permitted by law. In plain terms, this means that if something goes wrong with the Referral Program – for example, if there is a technical issue that prevents a discount from applying, or if a reward is delayed – our liability to you is limited. We are not responsible for any loss of opportunity, loss of data, or any other harm beyond the direct value of the referral reward itself. Our total aggregate liability under this Referral Program, if any, shall not exceed the value of the highest possible referral reward (in other words, the highest gift card amount) that would be payable under this program.
This limitation does not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. But aside from such required liabilities, by participating in this program you agree that our obligations are limited to those expressly stated in these terms.
Indemnification
By choosing to participate in the Referral Program, you agree that if your actions violate the law or these terms and cause harm to New Generation or another party, you will indemnify (compensate) New Generation for any loss. In legal terms: You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold New Generation harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) that arise out of or relate to your breach of these Referral Program Terms or your violation of any law or third-party rights in connection with your participation.
For example, if you were to engage in spam emailing in violation of these terms and a recipient of those emails took legal action against New Generation, you could be responsible for the costs or damages that result, because you breached the “no spam” rule. This indemnity would also apply if you misuse the referral program in a way that causes us damage or results in a third-party claim. New Generation will promptly notify you of any such claim and may allow you to assist in the defense, but we reserve the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification (at your expense) if we choose. This indemnification obligation will survive any termination of these terms and your participation in the Referral Program.
Decisions and Disputes
New Generation reserves the right to make all determinations regarding the interpretation and application of these Referral Program terms. All decisions made by New Generation in relation to the Referral Program are final and binding. This includes decisions about whether a referral is valid, whether a Referring Guest or Referred Guest met the conditions, the amount of any reward due, or any instance of suspected abuse. We will act in good faith and fairly, but to ensure the integrity of the program, our determinations will be conclusive.
We will not enter into correspondence or disputes with participants or third parties about our decisions. In the event of any dispute or question arising, our internal records and judgment will be the authoritative reference. By participating, you acknowledge that New Generation has the sole discretion to resolve ambiguities or conflicts in these terms or the program’s operation, and you agree to abide by our resolution of any such matters.
Furthermore, referral discounts and vouchers are provided as a gratuitous benefit and have no cash value. They are not refundable or exchangeable. For example, if for some reason you are dissatisfied with a voucher reward (say, you preferred cash or a different retailer), no alternative will be provided. There is also no right to a refund of any discount if, for instance, a booking is canceled outside the terms of our booking policy – our standard cancellation terms would apply instead. Any complaints regarding the Referral Program will be handled at our discretion, and we reserve the right not to respond to repetitive or baseless claims. This does not affect any legal rights you have, but it does mean that, contractually, our decision on program matters is final.
Privacy and Data Protection
All personal information collected and processed as part of this Referral Program will be used in accordance with New Generation’s Privacy Policy (available on our website at skinewgen.com/privacy) and in compliance with applicable data protection laws. New Generation Ski & Snowboard School is the entity responsible for the collection and processing of personal data in connection with the Referral Program, as required by UK data protection law (including the UK GDPR).
When you participate as a Referring Guest, we may collect personal data such as your name, contact information, and information about the friends you refer (for example, their email address if you provide it). This data is used for the operation of the referral scheme – e.g., to send referral invitations (if the system supports direct invites), to apply discounts, and to issue rewards. By referring someone, you confirm that you have the referred person’s permission to share their contact details with us for this purpose. Referred Guests’ data (such as their name, email, and booking details) will likewise be used to administer the discount and for our internal tracking of the program.
We will treat all such personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and will not use it for unrelated marketing unless the individual has consented or we have another lawful basis to do so. Any communications we send as part of the Referral Program (e.g., an email to a referred friend with a discount offer) will comply with privacy and electronic communication laws. Participants also agree to comply with applicable privacy laws – for example, as a Referring Guest, you should inform your friend about the referral and obtain their consent before providing their details to New Generation, as a matter of courtesy and legality.

No Agency or Partnership
Participation in the Referral Program does not create any agency, partnership, or employment relationship between you and New Generation. You and New Generation remain independent parties. These terms do not authorise you to act on behalf of New Generation nor to bind New Generation to any obligation. In legal terms, nothing in these terms shall be deemed to create a joint venture, agency, employer-employee, or franchiser-franchisee relationship. You are simply an independent participant. You must not make any statements that could mislead someone into thinking you are an agent, representative, or employee of New Generation. If you fail to make this clear in your communications, we may consider it a breach of these terms.
Additionally, aside from the expressly stated rewards (discount and gift card) that eligible participants may obtain, you have no right to any compensation or reimbursement from New Generation for participating in the Referral Program. You are responsible for any expenses you incur in referring friends (for example, if you take someone out to explain the program, that’s on you). New Generation will not cover any such costs.
Amendments and Updates
New Generation reserves the right to amend these Referral Terms at any time. We may update the terms to clarify provisions, add new conditions, or address issues that arise. We may also offer additional incentives or introduce new components to the Referral Program (such as limited-time bonus rewards, contests, etc.), which could come with their own additional terms. Any amendments or new terms will be posted on our website and/or communicated to active participants via email. It is your responsibility to review the terms periodically. If you continue to participate in the Referral Program after any changes to the terms, that will constitute your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with an amendment, you should stop participating in the program (and you may cancel your participation by letting us know, or simply not making further referrals).
We will indicate the “Last Updated” date of these terms so you know if they have changed. In the event of any material changes that could affect your benefits, we will aim to notify you in advance or at least make the changes conspicuous. However, minor edits for legal compliance or clarification may be made without specific notice. The most current version of the Referral Program Terms will always be available on the New Generation website.
Severability
If any provision of these Referral Program terms is found to be illegal, invalid, or unenforceable by a court or regulatory authority, that provision will be severed (removed) from the agreement. The remaining provisions of these terms will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any part of these terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce that or any other part in the future.
No waiver of any term shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of that term or any other term. Similarly, a determination that we have failed to enforce a right or provision in one instance does not mean we are waiving our right to enforce it later.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Referral Program (and any related dispute or claim) is governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law principles. By participating, you agree that any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms or the Referral Program shall be brought in the courts of England and Wales, which will have exclusive jurisdiction. In other words, if any controversy or claim cannot be resolved amicably and becomes a legal matter, it will be resolved under English law in an English (UK) court.
Please note that these terms do not affect any rights you may have under consumer protection laws to pursue claims in your local jurisdiction (if those laws apply despite the choice of English law). However, we expect that any issues can be addressed by contacting us directly and we encourage you to reach out if you have any concerns.
Organizer Details: This Referral Program is offered by New Generation Ski and Snowboard Limited, an English company with registered number 08491313, having its registered office at Fifth Floor, Watson House, 54–60 Baker Street, London, W1U 7BU, United Kingdom. All benefits (discounts and vouchers) are provided by New Generation Ski and Snowboard Limited. Ellis Brigham is not a sponsor or organizer of this Referral Program and has no direct involvement in the promotion aside from being the merchant providing the gift cards. Acceptance
By participating in the New Generation Ski & Snowboard School Referral Program (for example, by sharing your referral link or by using a referral code to book), you indicate that you accept and agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, you should not participate. We recommend that you retain a copy of these terms for your records. Thank you for helping to introduce New Generation to your friends – we appreciate your support and are excited to share the rewards with you under this program!
